End of September 2015

CALVIN LOST HIS FIRST TOOTH TODAY
SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 27, 2015!
We all laid down for naps.  Calvin made a comfy cozy little bed in the living room, so was laying out there...Lyle and I were crashed in our bed, when I felt a little tap on my shoulder and heard a quiet whisper "mommy?"
I hesitantly turned over (thinking someone was probably tattle telling ;p)...when HE BROKE THE EXCITING NEWS!!!
Holding his tooth, unaware of his bloody mouth :), I couldn't help but shout for joy and hug this sweet little cutie!!!
What an exciting day Calvin Fort!!!

Calvin's Cottage Fair was tonight.  They studied bird houses first quarter so we got to see all his work on birds!  The boys got a fruit snack, a cookie, and a Halloween water :).
While we waited for the children to perform, we chilled in the back and read books with the Hinton's.
There were 5 groups who did a research report on 5 different birds.  Calvin was part of the Flamingo group!  It was really neat to see all the work they put into it!  And his happy face at sweet success!  It is always good to feel a little recognized for hard work!

September Week 4

Took a rain walk :)...mmm I love being in nature!

We have a backyard!!!!  It has been over a year...but seriously!!  I feel so lucky!!!!!

The Tenney Family invited us over for dinner and FHE this week!  We had Navajo Taco's.  The lesson was great...Tyler involved everyone :)!  I am so grateful for friends!!! <3

Barbara did not want our rocking chair anymore...the boys were pretty excited about having it back!

SHERWOOD PARK OPENED BACK UP!!!!  Just in time for the nice weather!  THANK YOU!

I started taking piano lessons from Emily Nicoll last week.  This week she told us Mesa High was having a Homecoming parade later that afternoon.  I pulled Calvin out of school an hour early to go to the parade (he was pretty excited lol).  They passed out so much candy...so naturally the boys really enjoyed it hahaha!

Lyle started building his Bowser costume when I was at the General Women's Broadcast.

September 2015 Week 3

Enjoying a BEAUTIFUL day!!!  I feel so blessed <3!!

Lyle fixed Diana Thurber's door, so the boys watched Tom and Jerry while I got to hear about Diana's life.  She is quite an amazing woman and I feel so lucky that I got to spend that time with her!  I never want to take people for granted...MAKE SURE you show love and appreciation always!

We saw this as we were heading out the door to take Calvin to school :)!  This Gecko apparently tried to eat our doorbell and fried himself :)

Primary Activity Day!!!!  Thank you AMAZING leaders!!

Lol...I took Jordan on a special date while Calvin was at Activity Day :).  We had breakfast at McDonalds :).  Oh those boys make me feel so special!
All the kids were enjoying ice cream sundae's when we came to pick them up :)!
Addison turned 4 on September 19th.  They had a pizza party.  It was fun to be with them!

September Week 2

On the home stretch coming home from camping :).  The boys were jamming out to ?My Heart is a Ghost Town" (I tried to upload the video but it didn't work)

Took Jordan to the Temple after dropping Calvin off at school.  We spent quite a while there and had a pretty great time :)!

Took the kids to Organ Stop Pizza for the first time!  It was fun...especially watching them!...the simple joys of childhood :) <3

Had Neito Landscaping come help take down all of our trees so we now have a blank slate to plant lots of fruit trees!  YAY!!

Swimming at Grandpa's...the heat doesn't want to leave yet :)

Lyle was wood carving most of the time we were there.  He made guns, knives and swords for lots of people!

Macho Macho Man!!

Tasha, Mark, an their baby Ethan came to visit us Friday to Saturday!  It was awesome!

The boys were so awesome about taking the little ones out.  Blessed!

Mmmm precious moments!  Love seeing these two enjoying each other!

Trust Fall! :)

Gotta get a little football going up in here!

Calvin found a perfect climbing tree.  He wanted to eat up here, and sleep up here....that didn't happen, but he sure did spend a lot of time up here :)

Lol...Lyle saw this shirt in one of the shops in Greer
Its a bear deer hahaha

We went fishing and Calvin found this perfect little bush...reminded me of Spike on Land Before Time.

Surprisingly, the boys caught quite a few fish in this tiny little stream!

Calvin and Addison really seemed to bond this trip!

The boys would catch fish then call the little ones over to have them real em in.  So sweet!  The little kids were so excited!

Such Handsome boys!

Mom is so awesome!   Always making her grandkids feel like a million bucks :)

Calvin started building a fort with fallen branches, then the boys helped him make it big and awesome!  They brought toys inside and it was quite a cool little hideout.

Jordan was so sweet on all the dogs.

Packin up camp :(.  Bittersweet moment when it's time to go home.

It was a COLD rainy weekend, but we had a blast!
Thank you Mom and David for planning a TERRIFIC weekend!!
