Independence Day!

We started off the day at a Stake Breakfast.

There was a devotional, a flag ceremony, and the kids sang "My Country's Flag".

13 Folds of the Flag (one thing they talked about were the meanings of each fold of the flag...I had never heard it before...it was pretty cool!)

 Calvin brought Ben Nicol up with him...It was sweet to see him watching out for him!  Melt my heart.

After the devotional, we went outside and had breakfast (each ward had a station, and we thought we could only eat our wards...which was cold cereal...but turns out we could have had anything).
What a good lookin bunch of boys :)!

 There was also a bike parade.  Lyle had to leave for a job before this though.
Bonus:  Lyle made $150 bucks and the people gave him a brand new freezer and sewing machine!

 Me and the boys just chilled while waiting for Lyle to get home from his job :)

LOL...These boys are my favorite!
Oooo they just melt my heart and bring me so many smiles and giggles every day!

We went to my Dad's house when Lyle got home.

We had lots of yummy food and went swimming.

Lisa made this awesome cake among lots of other delicious things!

After my Dad's house we came home and took a little rest, then went over to Emily Nicol's parents house and lit some fireworks!  It was lots of fun!  As we were outside Calvin started seeing bigger fireworks so wanted to go chase them :)

 We ended up just coming home and climbing up on the roof in hopes we might be able to see several different shows.  We did see lots in the distance, but next year I definitely want to go to a show!

 Lyle ended off the night with our own little grand finale :).  He's awesome!!!
