February 21-29

Ben Nicol's birthday is 2 days before Jordan so we went to his house for a Dinosaur birthday party!
The kids all decorated Dinosaur cookies...they loved it!
Jordan had a Ninja Turtle Birthday Party!
I got a free Ninja Turtle Cake Pan from the Library...Lyle decorated awesomely!!
We tried out a new product...water balloons that take just seconds to blow up 35 at a time.  It was actually pretty AWESOME!  The thing we learned though is that you have to blow them up right before you use them...not far ahead of time cause they start leaking water into the pool of water they are in.
Excited Brothers :)!
(Calvin skipped a school field trip today to spend the day with his brother)
We LOVE Bounce Houses!
(Mommy is preggers though...sadly couldn't enjoy as much as she'd have like too :))
Grandma Fort Sent a new game "Hoot Owl Hoot" for Jordan's birthday!
It is an awesome game!
Jordan had a lot of friends show up
(I was actually pretty surprised...and overwhelmed haha)
Happy 4th Birthday Jordan
Jenne, Addison, Bailey (her babysitting girl)
Cindy, Dylan, Wyatt Hinton
Colleen, Skylar, Taylor Standage....Emily and Ben Nicoll
Julie, Lineah, Charlotte, Lily Driggs
Alyce, Preston and Adaline Huber

Highlight of the day:
Grandma drove down!!!!!!
Made Jordan a special book :)...hopefully he'll appreciate it through the years.
Grandma treated us to Old Country Buffet for dinner
Grandpa Sanders gave Jordan a gift card to Walmart!

February 11-20, 2016

Calvin had to do a random act of kindness for a school project so he made bread and shared with some friends/neighbors.
While in the kitchen making bread, Jordan was back "going to the bathroom" in my bathroom.  He was in there for quite a while so we went to check on him and he was sprawled out naked on the ground squeezing himself into Hailey's pajamas
(she is still in my tummy mind you :)). Hahahahahahaha
Family Valentines Dinner at Olive Garden <3
Afterwards we went to Freestone Park to enjoy the beautiful day!

Lyle gave me chocolate roses for Valentine's Day...here the boys are sharing one :)
 SUPERCALVIN!
Jordan wanted to hang out in his undies all day...lol...he's young enough still to where I just couldn't resist letting him...too cute :)
 Drum Roll.................
For....Jelly Belly's!!
Monday was President's Day so with no school we went out to Breakfast at The Gilbert House with the Hinton's then went to play at their house for a few hours.  It was a great day!

Lyle helped the boys get this pool out.  Needless to say...even though it is tiny, they had a blast :)!

We went to Wendy's for dinner and my sweet Jordan is always hangin by my side to take care of me (knowing I have had lots of difficulty this pregnancy :))! <3<3<3
After Wendy's we went to a new park...it is the one by Gilbert Greens Apartments...they put in a new park there.  It was awesome!!
I visit teach Diana Thurber and she always has cool toys out for the boys to play.
Calvin followed instructions to make this robot...he was pretty excited at how well it turned out.

Charlotte Driggs has a birthday a week before Jordan.  Her party was at a park...so fun!

February 1-10, 2016

Have to give a shout out to this cutie!  He has taken such great care of me this pregnancy!  He is a pro at getting me throw-up-bowls, vicks vapor rub, oils, a fresh water glass...and he tucks me in for nap time...he just melts my heart and I can't thank God enough for the sweet children he sent me.
Life would suck without them!

 Calvin lost his 4th tooth!
He lost one the previous day, and didn't even HAVE another loose tooth.  He said right before they lined up at the end of their school day, it just fell out.  CRAZY :).

LOL...I discovered these pics on my camera...looks like Jordan got a hold of my phone one day hehe.
 Love the Love!
AGAIN!  TRULY...I LOVE LOVE LOVE the LOVE in these boys!!!
We went to Yogurtland for FREE froyo this week!
You could pile it as high as you wanted...yogurt AND toppings!  It was awesome!!!
Melanie, Ann Marie and their kiddos met us there :).
Brother fun on the piano!  Oh how I love Music!
LOL...Just had to add this cute pic of the boys having fun taking selfies with baby sister belly :)
Jordan REALLY wanted to go to the Spinnie-Doo park so I took him.
Apparently he got a little too much spinning because he puked in the car :(.
I put him in the bath when we got home, and thankfully after a while he did start to feel better :).
This picture CRACKS me up every time I see it....I think it might be the memory of the whole situation.  The things he says...it is always just a hoot.
Captured his fit on camera...I turned on the music while waiting to pick up Calvin from School...he didn't like it so started screaming at me.  Weee're workin on being better with words...let's just say, the music didn't get turned off right away.
One of the boys favorite activities lately is creating giant towers with wooden blocks, setting up the bad piggies in it, then playing angry birds.  It is quite cute and I actually really enjoy watching them :)

January 2016

Elder Price was in town for New Years week and lucky us!!!...he stopped by for a quick visit!  He was one of our favorite missionaries!
I don't even know what spurred this on...but one morning the boys were being all lovey and cute with each other and asked me to take some pictures.  A lot of them turned out fuzzy but I LOVE the pure joy, love, and innocence I captured on their precious faces!:

The Winsor family gave us a box of legos and other random toys...among which were some angry birds, and lately the boys have been spending lots of time building block towers to play their own homemade angry birds.
They have gotten really creative lately in coming up with new games and ideas of fun stuff to do.  It is fascinating, adorable, and endearing to watch these sweet blessings I get to call sons!!

1/21/16- Cindy brought me flowers and a mini Ben and Jerry's cookie dough ice cream!!  I can't remember why...she said I helped her with something and this was her thank you :)...she brought it while Calvin was at school so Jordan and I shared the yummy ice cream!
Thank you Cindy!!
I have no idea what this was from but I found it on Lyle's phone and thought it was awesome :)!

 JANUARY 28, 2016
CALVIN LOST HIS 3RD TOOTH!!!!
He came home from school and I was TERRIBLY sick that day (just from pregnancy...I could barely stand...so Cindy brought him home).
He so sweetly and excitedly shared his WONDERFUL news!  He got a special little tooth cup from the nurse to hold his tooth in...which he was pretty stoked about!
What a special boy this Calvin is!
The sweet tender heart he has...the pure love he so freely shares...I am so grateful for this pure, kind, loving boy who brings so much Joy into our home, family, and into my heart!
I sure love you Calvin Fort!

Jordan got new undies for Christmas but he kept complaining that they hurt his waste, so he got
NEW UNDIES :). (Which he loves!...Calvin wants some too now :))
1/30/16
Lyle had a big side job today.  I have been really sick this pregnancy, and he has really stepped up and been willing to help out more than usual which I am SOOOOO grateful for!!!
Today he took the boys to his side job, but that ended up falling through so they went to the mall and had all kinds of fun (Panda for lunch...rode the merry go round...Calvin went on the strappy-bouncy-thingy...)

While the boys were gone Elaine Guthrie brought THIS over!!!!
SHE MADE HAILEY A QUILT!!!!!
OMG IT'S ADORABLY PERFECT!!!
Oh how I cherish that sweet woman!  What a wonderful surprise this was!!

The boys were pretty pooped when they got home.
Jordan decided to nap here :) (though no naps ever actually happened :)).
My bike was broken, so Lyle flew solo again with the boys, and took them on a bike ride to Sherwood Park.  He said they had a blast!  They came home and we enjoyed Little Caesars Deep Dish for dinner.
Thank you Lyle for a wonderful day!

2016 Truth Seekers

Life is NOT about being obedient robots.
The REASON we HAVE the Gospel, and are asked to obey, is because it IS truth!
Truth sets you free (John 8:31-32)
Truth is knowledge of things as they REALLY are.  Knowledge is Power.
Truth is the avenue to Happiness.
Adherence TO Truth is what brings us blessings, peace, and happiness.
Truth comes as we follow Christ...for He IS Truth.

Truth IS
The Word of the Lord
(God our Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are the fountain of truth...ALL truth comes through them).
The Gospel (Which is why we should live by principle/truth...because the basic doctrines and principles of the Gospel ARE TRUTH...unchanging, unaffected by opinion...
"Opinion alone has no power in the matter of an absolute truth." Truth exists yesterday, today, and forever and is unchanging.
the Gospel IS the WAY to happiness.
Therefore...The greater your understanding of
The Gospel
Christ
The Atonement
TRUTH
The more purposeful your life will be. The more peace you will experience.  The richer/happier your life will be.
Gaining Truth, Experiencing Truth, Living Truth = Freedom

How do we gain truth?
By Following Christ
By coming unto Him in every thought, word, deed, moment
Through the Spirit (which means we must be ready/worthy at every moment for guidance, direction, revelation)...this is WHY the temple is so special: 1 because you must be living your life worthy of it...which also means you are living your best to be worthy of the Spirit's constant companionship,
and 2 it is a special place to GO to be closer to the spirit...and thus a place to receive truths.

If I know God lives, and that Jesus Christ is His Son...How should that change me?
How does that look on a day to day basis?
(would it change the way I act, think, feel?  Would I see myself, others, life differently?)

Secular knowledge is good!
However we MUST FIRST place first things first...
1-discover and LIVE Truth's that lead to eternal life (not for the sake of being a robot, but because it IS the way to peace, and happiness...it IS behind all purpose).

GOAL
To gain balance and proper perspective in seeking and living all TRUTH:  to bless yourself and others!

"The nearer man approaches perfection, the clearer are his views, and the greater his enjoyments, till he has overcome the evils of his life and lost every desire for sin"

A Beautiful Life revolves around TRUTH!!!
We rejoice in Truth!
